ECUST Technology labeled as World-class
ECUST’s Coal-water Slurry Gasification with Opposed Multi-burner (capability of 2000 tons per day) was recognized as a world leading Technology after a verification meeting organized by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association (CPCIA) on 19th April.
President of CPCIA Mr. Li Yongwu attended the meeting and highly acclaimed what ECUST has done in this field. He said, this technique has provided a significant basis for technological development under the background of over-capacity in China.
Vice President of China Academy of Engineering Academician Xie Kechang urged during the meeting that related policies have to be made to facilitate the priority usage of self-renovated gasification technology in coal chemical industry, clean technology area and large-scale programs in order to further promote the competition of Chinese technologies in the global market.
East China University of Science and Technology has been at the forefront in terms of clean technology and this gasification technique was said to be among the very few self-renovation technologies which have earned an international reputation with profit for the industry.
